We stayed in villa Asimina last September. We were so pleased with the location and beautiful view. The villa is very spacious and is well equipped with everything we needed including hairdryer, iron and fans for very hot nights. The little back yard is great for a shady ,cool breakfast when the harbour facing balcony gets too hot. Lovely big bathroom with proper bath and shower above which means no wet floor!Asimina's parents live below and are so friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. We loved staying here and have booked again for September 2012.

We have just spent a glorious 2 weeks at Villa Asimina. Waking up to watch the sunrise and the fishing boats chugging out to sea was very special. Asiminas parents, Nikitas and Kiki were so warm and welcoming that it made our holiday complete. As too were Yorgos(their son) and Caroline who were most helpful with arranging taxis and ferries and any other information that we needed.

As a solo traveller, I could not have chosen better than to spend a week at Villa Asimina. From the moment I arrived off the ferry and was met by Asimina's lovely father, Nikitas, I knew I would have a wonderful week. The villa is light and airy with some beautiful traditional Greek furniture - full of character. The options of sitting on the balcony with a view to the sea and Rhodes or in the quiet shaded geranium-filled courtyard provides lots of flexibility. Wonderful village bakery and selection of tavernas and 7 minutes walk to a lovely sandy beach with shady trees. I made many friends in a week - the shop and restaurant owners and of course Asimina's family, who were overwhelmingly kind, generous and who made my stay on Halki truly memorable. Thank you.

just returned from Villa Asimina and what a wonderfull time we had. The house is very well kept and has good quality fixtures & fittings. The propieters brother Yorgos and his wife Caroline took care of everything and made us feel very welcome. We especially liked the shady yard where we often had lunch from the bakery by the harbour and relaxed with a bottle of local wine. The view from the lounge window is beautiful especially whilst having an early morning coffee to the sound of the church bells. Truly an enjoyable experience Thanks again Asimina. We'll be back.

giudizio più che positivo. siamo stati 4 giorni in 2 coppie a villa asimina e ci siamo trovati bene, sia per la posizione della casa, che per la pulizia e la gentilezza dei proprietari.parlano anche italiano, così tutto è più facile.

I was at Villa Asimina last August and it was fantastic.
The house is really cosy and clean and with a beautiful view.
I was alone and all Asimina's family treated me as a component of their family. I have to thank all of them

We fully endorse the comments made before. It truly is a lovely place on a wonderful island - a real home from home in Halki. We cannot wait to go back next year which will be our third - this says it all.

Halki is a truly unique island which I and my family have been visiting for 20 years and Villa Asimina is the perfect base there. An authentic village house with great views and one of the few baths on Halki! We have stayed there for the last four years and what makes it really special is the warmth of the whole family and their genuine friendliness. Nothing is too much for them (even accompanying me to Rhodes hospital one time!). If you are lucky enough to be able to book this villa you will have a wonderful time.

We stayed in Villa Asimina for 4 weeks from May 21st to June 18th and had a wonderful time. The house was superb, clean with everything you could have wished for during a holiday on the wonderful island of Halki. It was made more memorable by Asimina's parents Nikitas & Kiki who went out of their way to make you feel at home. We would have no hesitation in staying there again in the future.

Our stay in Halki was really excellent and we enjoyed every minute. The house is really comfortable and the view magnificent. Everything you need is there, simple but everything clean and perfectly working. What makes the difference is the warm and friendly atmosphere that your family is able to create.
